Azure BI Consultant / Azure Data Engineer

For our team based in Warsaw and remotely, we are looking for a Azure BI Consultant / Azure Data Engineer focusing mainly on designing and constructing ETL processes.


– Design and construction of ETL processes, Data Warehouses, and Data Lake

– Collecting requirements and designing a logical and physical data model

– Creating advanced queries and database procedures in SQL, NoSQL

– Data visualization using R, Python, or Commercial tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)

– Active participation in the tasks of the DWH / BI team working in Agile / Scrum

– Responsible for using Azure BI services for the development of Big Data Platforms

– Work closely with the Product Owners and Architects to develop Azure Data Platforms including Machine  Learning services.

– Responsible for development and deployment of new data platforms

– Supporting younger colleague in the implementation of tasks related to the BI area


– Higher education in technical, mathematical, or economic studies (or the last year of studies)

– At least 2-3 years of experience in implementing projects related to the implementation, development, or maintenance of Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, or Big Data systems

– Good knowledge of the English language (min. B2) 

– Experience in working with MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and at least one ETL tools (SSIS, DataStage, Apache Pig / Kafka)

– Experience developing and deploying ETL solutions on Azure

– Advanced knowledge of SQL

– Practical knowledge of one of the BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, and others) or data visualization libraries (e.g. Plotly, Shiny)

– Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

– Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

– Independence and responsibility for delivering a solution

– Knowledge of Big Data issues will be a great advantage

– Multi-cloud experience a plus – Azure, AWS, Google
