Michał is an engineering manager passionate about AI and big data, with experience in both research and business. He has a PhD in Technical Sciences and an MBA. He used to work as a data scientist and engineer, and now he leads projects and technical teams, including his own tech company.
He joined us four months ago and supports the team in project management, technical guidance, and process improvement.
We interviewed him, asking 7 questions to gain insights into Michał’s leadership style
and experience working with his team at Addepto.

Innovations and the latest technologies: at Addepto we work with AI solutions from machine learning to advanced language models, turning theory into real business impact.
Teamwork: we not only support our own teams, but also share knowledge across the company.
Exciting challenges: our projects with global clients – from automotive to aviation, bring constant opportunities to grow and make a real difference.
First of all, I value open communication and honesty. We share both positive and negative feedback, which really helps us move forward. Another important aspect is constructive criticism. Without it, if we only praised each other, we wouldn’t be able to deliver at the level we do. What matters is that feedback is solution-oriented: if something isn’t working, we not only point it out but also suggest how to improve it. These are the elements I value most.
From my experience, Addepto brings together true professionals and experts in their fields. But it is not only about expertise. What really matters is taking initiative. It is about not just defining a problem, but also finding the right solution and convincing the team that it is worth pursuing.
Another key skill is openness to change, as the AI industry evolves so quickly that even what worked three months ago may already be outdated.
Finally, proper communication is essential. Expressing ideas clearly, listening to others, and understanding client needs, which are often very specific and may require flexibility, are all crucial.
The AI industry evolves incredibly fast, so adaptability and continuous learning are essential. It’s not just about knowing the tools, but about using them wisely to deliver real business value.
Being open to feedback is equally important, since it helps us grow every day. If you’re curious about AI, excited by new challenges, and ready to learn and collaborate, you’ll be a great fit for my team at Addepto.
We mainly work using agile methodologies, which puts a strong emphasis on clear planning and task definition. Regular sprint meetings, retrospectives, and ongoing communication with the client ensure that we fully understand their needs and goals, so we can deliver effectively.
We also make time to connect as a team, not just about work but to understand what everyone is working on and get to know each other personally. Even though we mostly work remotely, we value occasional in-person meetings to build relationships and help the team stay connected.
What I like most is the variety and lack of monotony. No two days are the same, which makes the work really exciting. I enjoy solving both technical challenges and working with people, supporting them in their growth.
Seeing team members develop new skills, take initiative, and solve problems independently gives me great satisfaction. Being able to guide the team while also contributing to business solutions is what I find most rewarding.
The only constant in life is change.
